Differential pressure flow meters are used in many industrial applications. When high measurement accuracy is required, the optimum solution for primary flow elements is a meter run.
A meter run is an assembly consisting of an orifice plate, flanges, and calibrated upstream and downstream pipe sections. Since the meter run is manufactured as a single unit, all components are optimally matched to one another. This eliminates deviations that could otherwise lead to measurement errors.
Optimum Solution for Every Application
According to the standards, the term "meter run" is used only for small pipe sizes up to 1½ inches in diameter.
Regardless of pipe size, mounting type, pressure tapping location, or transmitter connection configuration, meter runs provide a reliable and accurate flow measurement solution.
Applications
Power Generation
Oil Production and Refining
Water Treatment and Distribution Systems
Gas Processing and Transmission Pipelines
Chemical and Petrochemical Industries
Special Features
Maximum operating temperature and pressure are limited by the selected material and pressure class.
Suitable for measuring liquid, gas, and steam flow.
Measurement accuracy: ≤ ±1.0% of actual flow.
Repeatability: ±0.1%.
